Dale E. Freeman, 65, of Mishawaka passed away on March 21, 2024. Dale was born to the late Clarence and Juanita (Sargent) Freeman on March 3, 1959, in Mishawaka. He went on to graduate from Penn High School where he played baseball and remained a lifelong area resident. Dale worked for the City of Mishawaka for many years, starting in the Street Department before moving on to the Fire Department and working his way up to Fire Chief prior to his retirement. Dale married Tina Perri on November 10, 1984, in Mishawaka.
Dale is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tina Freeman; siblings, Douglas (Carolyn) Freeman and Sue (Mike) Roerig; nephews, Matthew (Nicole) Freeman, Steven (Kiley) Freeman, and Brian Beaver; niece, Jennifer Beaver; great nephew Wells Freeman; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David Freeman and Dennis Freeman.
Friends may visit with the family from 3-6pm on Tuesday, March 26th, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 27th, in St. Monica Catholic Church, 222 W Mishawaka Ave, Mishawaka, with visitation one hour prior at the church.
