Janice Cook

Janice Lee Cook, 83, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born on February 19, 1943, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Richard Orem and Irene (Hill) Orem.

Janice dedicated many years of hard work as an employee at AM General, where she was known for her strong work ethic and determination. She took great pride in her work and the life she built for her family.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michele Cook, Mark (Angela) Cook, and Randall Cook; her significant other, Mike Covey; her grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Tanner Free, Regann Cook, Jacob Cook, and Jackson Cook; great grandchildren, Zane Martin and Wyatt Cook; and her brothers, Kenneth Orem and Ronald Orem. She also leaves behind extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Per Janice’s request, no services will take place, and she will be cremated. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Cook family.
